1. Wool Processing

Hand-carding and spinning convert the wool into yarn of even thickness. Traditional spinning wheels ensure the yarn maintains its original softness.
3. Dyeing
The yarn is dyed in controlled batches to achieve long-lasting, colorfast hues. After dyeing, the yarn is dried outdoors for natural setting of color.
4. Pattern Designing
The geometric pattern is first drawn manually on paper and then transferred onto graph sheets. These sheets guide the artisan during weaving.
5. Hand-Weaving
Warp threads are arranged on the loom, and the pattern is constructed by interweaving dyed wool wefts. Each section is built line-by-line, ensuring detail, precision, and texture consistency.
6. Washing & Softening
The finished rug is washed to remove loose fibers and then softened to achieve an even texture across the surface.
7. Finishing Touches
Edges are bound securely, threads are trimmed, and final surface inspection is performed to ensure the piece is ready for long-term use.
